The premier of the 5th season of the only reality show that I can stomach and throughly enjoy begins tonight. eleven teams of two race around the world to win one million dollars. each week they must complete a set of tasks on their way to their next unknown location, eventually ending right where they started. It's amazing cause one team could be in the lead one week and behind the pack the next. It's dependent on volatile variables, like flight connections, that can send a lead into a tail spin.
I've always wanted to go on this show, I think it would be an incredible experience. I was to apply for the 5th season, but I had a scheduling conflict so I wanted to apply for the 6th season. But now I find out that they have already casted for the 6th season and it will Air in the Fall lineup! Argh! Very disappointing, but still a good thing, cause the future of Amazing Race was uncertain at the end of the 4th season. Already filming a 6th before the 5th airs is a very good sign of confidance.
Still sucks though. Ah well, I'll be watching! Amazing Race premiers tonight at 9:30 on CBS.
