For my third trip to the Empire State Building (first time non work related) I was able to get a great view the city at night. Having been at the building for a function sponsered by Hershey's and hosted by Nick and Amy of "The Apprentice" fame, the true treat was the views. They are simply breath taking.
My only regret is forgetting to take a Mfop picture while I was up there.

You should have thrown a carmely kiss over the side to see what type of affect it would have... http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_225.html

We actually did have a similar discussion while up at the ESB. Someone had a wine glass near an open window on the 80th floor, and we questioned weither if it fell out, could it actually hurt someone. Which recalled the facts about the terminal velocity of a penny, and how that wouldn't actually kill someone... I would think a kiss would be the same, and good luck finding that thing, with the wind draft, to record your results.
Also, how the ESB people claim that nothing has ever been thrown of the top of the building. Yea, right.
