Oh the delemia. The Macworld New York that took place every year at the Javits center has been replaced, and a cheap immitation has been left in its place Macworld Creative Pro (doesn't that just roll off the tounge). And it brings up alot of questions...
No longer is Steve Jobs giving the keynote. Attendance is down, and exhibitors is down according to The San Francisco Chronicle. The suprises are probably all gone, all exposed for the WWDC that just took place a few weeks ago.
But the question for me is, should I go? I work near Apple Soho so I have already played with the iSight, and surely the G5 will be there shortly. The company that I work for can no longer support me to go to the conferences, so the exhibitions would be my only choice. But since I have missed the early registration deadline, the cheapest pass costs $35.00. And it just doesn't seem worth it anymore to me.
Perhaps I'll just go for the Powerpage class photo, if that hasn't been "reworked" as well.

I think it's a bust this year. Everything exciting came out at WWDC. It's a shame- the New York MacWorld was always a great show.
